With more than 20 years of experience in the media and marketing industries, Laura Goldberg is the award-winning PR, communications, and digital media strategist behind LBG Public Relations, a PR consultancy that empowers media and marketing technology companies to achieve their business objectives.

Under her leadership, LBG’s diverse client roster has ranged from leading media trade organizations such as the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) and Out of Home Advertising Association of America (OAAA), to established blue-chip media companies including Condé Nast, Johnson & Johnson’s BabyCenter, TheStreet.com, IAC, and NBCUniversal, to The Brandtech Group (formerly You & Mr Jones) to innovative digital natives such as eyeo, Collectively, and ActionIQ. In particular, her extensive experience leading communications for the IAB for nearly a decade, put her in the center of the digital media and marketing industry, building ongoing relationships with top-tier reporters on topics including digital advertising measurement, the growth of CTV, and internet-related public policy concerns in D.C., as well as previously driving coverage on industry marketplaces such as the Digital Content NewFronts and IAB Podcast Upfront. 

Laura is also the founder and head of the ICC (Independent Communications Consultants), a senior-level networking consortium for PR, marketing, and events professionals across the country. In addition, she has been honored as one of PR News’ Top Women in PR – 2017.

Before launching her consultancy, Laura served as Director of Corporate Communications for AOL, overseeing business, trade and consumer communications efforts for all programming areas within the portal's eCommerce, Lifestyle and Community channels. Earlier, she served as Vice President of Trylon Communications, a New York PR agency specializing in media and technology clients including The Gallup Organization, IDG, Corbis, Scripps Networks, About.com, and Time Inc.'s Business 2.0 magazine. Prior, she worked in performing arts PR, handling Mikhail Baryshnikov, The Joyce Theatre, Pilobolus, and Ballet Hispanico, among others. She began her career in television production and development with companies such as ABC and HBO.

A longstanding food blogger, podcaster and writer herself, she has also been tapped to work with like-minded businesses and non-profits such as Serious Eats, Slow Food NYC, and The Vendy Awards.   

A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Laura resides in Brooklyn Heights, New York.
